IRVING, Texas — The Sul Ross State baseball team suffered a 9-1 loss to the University of Dallas Crusaders on Friday afternoon.
>> HOW IT HAPPENED:
Sul Ross State trailed 2-0 before the Crusaders pushed across five runs in the sixth to extend their lead to 7-0.
The Lobos broke up a no-hit bid by the University of Dallas in the eighth inning.
Peyten Kennard hit a one-out single that was followed up by another single by
Estevan Ortiz to put runners at first and second.
Christopher Ulloa then delivered a pinch-hit RBI single through the left side to get the Lobos on the board.

- Kennard and Ortiz both went 1 for 3.
- Ulloa finished 1 for 1 with an RBI.
- Gage Cobb threw 5.1 innings allowing six hits while he struck out three batters.
