AUSTIN, Texas — Four Lobos finished with double digit scoring figures.
Victoria Aguayo tallied a triple-double.
It was a solid team effort as the Sul Ross State women's basketball team overcame a 14-point deficit to notch a 64-61 victory over the Concordia University Tornados on Saturday afternoon at the Concordia Fieldhouse.

Concordia led by eight at the four-minute mark in the first quarter before the Lobos cut the deficit in half with a 4-0 run with points in the paint by
Jema Padilla and
Kayley Diaz.
The Tornados then closed out the quarter on a 4-0 run to get their lead back up to eight.
Sul Ross State began the second quarter on a 5-0 run to trail by three.
Marley Rokas scored four points during the run.
Concordia answered back with a 4-0 run to lead by seven.
The momentum shifted back and forth until the Lobos used a 6-0 run to trail by one point with 1:56 left in the opening half.
Concordia closed out the second quarter on a 7-0 run to take an eight-point lead into the locker room.
The Tornados transferred their momentum into the second half by taking a 14-point lead at the 5:26 mark.
Sul Ross State stepped up in the clutch when
Cheyanne Bonilla landed a three-pointer to spark an 11-0 run to get the Lobos to within one point.
The Lobos outscored Concordia, 22-15, in the final quarter.
Bunger scored the first four points of the fourth quarter which tied up the score at 46-all.
The score was tied once more at 50-all before Bunger scored four quick points to give the Lobos a 54-53 lead with 4:26 to go.
Sul Ross State began to separate itself when it went on a 9-0 run. Diaz highlighted the run with five points which included a clutch three-pointer.

- The Lobos snapped a five-game losing skid.
- Sul Ross State complete the season sweep of the Tornados after winning the first meeting 74-69 back on Dec. 18.
- Bonilla led the way with a season-high 17 points while she also tallied four rebounds, three assists and two steals.
- Bonilla's previous season-high mark was 16 points, recorded twice on Dec. 16 and Jan. 4.
- Rokas added with 14 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals.
- Aguayo had a triple-double with 10 points and a game-high 15 rebounds and 11 steals.
- Bunger tallied 10 points and three rebounds.
- Diaz finished with nine points, seven rebounds, six assists and two steals. The seven rebounds mark a game-high for Diaz.
- The Lobos grabbed 43 rebounds while they came away with a game-high 19 steals.
- Sul Ross State shot 7 for 12 from the free throw line. The Lobos shot 6 for 10 from the charity stripe in the second half.
