>> WHAT THE COACH SAID:
"We shot the ball when we needed the basket. As usual, Marley always steps up. She's going to give us 100 percent. Victoria is so sneaky. She gets rebounds and scores. It's really sad that we can't go to the tournament. Right now, we're in sixth place and we can even move up if we keep winning. In crunch time, Jema scored and also Emily. That's a huge turnaround when Emily made that jumper. I'm so proud of everybody." —
Head coach E.J. Lee Smith
>> WHAT THE PLAYERS SAID:
"That's what we're here to do. The team comes first. I love when other people succeed. That's what drives our whole team is just the success of others. First half — our success came from our defense. They couldn't handle our pressure with ball handling. If we can get six point leads here and there that's what was keeping us in the game." —
Marley Rokas
"Getting to the end of our season, we're just trying to finish strong. I'm proud of all my teammates. I think just pushing together as a team, we're doing great. Just as long as we push each other to the end." —
Victoria Aguayo
