On Saturday afternoon, the Sul Ross State women's soccer team celebrated six seniors during a match against Lubbock Christian.
The Lobos fought hard, but fell short to the Lady Chaparrals by a score of 1-0 at the Lobo Soccer Field.
>> HOW IT HAPPENED:
Celeste De La Rosa was impenetrable in the first half, making six saves.
Meanwhile, the Lobos were held to two shots with only one coming at the goal as
Emily Garcia tried a shot at the net during the 21st minute.
Lubbock Christian got the equalizer from Claire Jacobson that came off a header assist by Ella Spiller during the 68th minute.

- De La Rosa made eight saves.
- The Lobos attempted four shots and two shots on goal.
- Serena Escobar, Karina Gallegos, Mia Serrano and Garcia all had one shot each.
- Lubbock Christian finished with 19 shots and nine shots on goal.
