ABILENE — Against the fourth place McMurry University War Hawks, the Sul Ross State softball team suffered a pair of losses Thursday evening at Edwards Field.
Game 1 was scoreless until the War Hawks won, 1-0, in the bottom of the 10th.
McMurry took the second game, 13-1, in five innings.

Sul Ross had six hits to the seven tallied by McMurry.
Camryn Hardin finished 2 for 4 with a pair of singles while
Samantha Chavez hit a double in the top of the first to go 1 for 4.
Adriana Hernandez also went 1 for 4 with a single in the fourth.
Lisbeth Dominguez tallied a single in the top of the ninth to finish 1 for 3.
Jenna Spencer went 1 for 1 with a single.
Leanza Chambers struck out six batters in 9.1 innings pitched while she did not allow an earned run.
>> GAME 2:
After a scoreless first inning, McMurry took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second.
The Lobos cut the deficit to one in the top of the third as Spencer led off the inning with an infield single. She later stole second and scored on a groundout to second by Chambers.
Sul Ross was held to three hits.
Chavez went 1 for 2 with a single while
Veronica Rodriguez tallied a single in the fifth to go 1 for 2.
Spencer finished 1 for 2 with a stolen base.
