AUSTIN — Holding on to a five-run lead in the top of the third, the Sul Ross State baseball team let one slip away on Saturday afternoon at Gardner-Boggs Field.
The Concordia University Tornados used a seven-run rally in the sixth to come back for the 14-7 victory to take the series two games to three.

Sul Ross came out scoring in the top of the first by pushing across three runs.
Tye Lindsey delivered an RBI double to left while
Carsen Thor drove in two runs with a double to left center.
Lee Kubosh extended the Lobo lead to 5-0 when he delivered a two-RBI double to left center in the top of the third.
Concordia erased the shutout by scoring one run in the bottom of the third. The Tornados then trailed by two after pushing across two runs in the fourth.
The Lobos increased their deficit to four by adding two runs on two hits in the top of the fifth.
Peyten Kennard hit a clutch two-RBI double to left to highlight the inning.
Concordia began to chip away again by cutting the deficit to two runs after getting a two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth.
The tables turned in the sixth when the Tornados scored seven runs on six hits in the sixth to pull away.
Sul Ross tallied 10 hits to Concordia's 12.
Thor finished 3 for 4 with two singles, a double, a walk and two RBI while
Tristan Karels went 2 for 3 with two singles and two runs scored.
Mateo Saenz hit a pair of singles in the fourth and eighth to go 2 for 4.
Lindsey scored three times to finish 1 for 3 with a walk and an RBI. Kennard ended up going 1 for 4 with two RBI.
Kubosh went 1 for 5 with a double and two RBI.
Dawson Beard was tabbed with the no-decision after throwing four innings allowing three hits and four earned runs with two strikeouts.
Aidan Mow faced seven batters in 1.2 innings as he allowed one hit.
Cade Watson suffered the loss after he allowed five earned runs on four hits.
Aiden Becker and
Derek Rojo came into relieve as the duo allowed four hits.
