He scored a team-high 21 points while he made five 3-pointers. This was the seventh time this season in which Paredes scored 20 or more points in a game.

Paredes finishes his career with 1,032 points.

"It feels great ending the season on a win," Paredes said. "Obviously, collectively as a season it didn't go our way, but I think it's good to finish on a win, build it up for next season for the younger guys.

"We just figured it out in the end and pulled it off. A lot of times throughout the year, these games were tough to finish off. To finally finish one off was good for us."

Kerley added with 14 points, eight assists and three 3-pointers. Nelson chipped in with nine points, nine assists and four rebounds.

Nelson entered the game ranked fourth in the conference with 109 assists while his 44 steals ranked sixth.

"It definitely feels good especially this year with the seniors having to fight through adversity with injuries," Kerley said after the win. "That's something we pride ourselves on is 4-to-1, mental to physical.

"That's something that Julian stands for and him being able to do that just gives us motivation to keep going. We were trying to stay united and stay as one. Once no one got their head down, everybody stayed positive and kept their head up — we pulled it out."
