The 10-game losing skid is no more.
On Thursday afternoon, the Sul Ross State women's soccer team put together a hard-fought 0-0 draw with East Texas Baptist University Tigers at the Lobo Soccer Field.
>> HOW IT HAPPENED:
It was the first draw of the season for the Lobos.
Sul Ross State had five shots in the opening half to counter the four taken by the Tigers.
During the second half, the Lobos began to create more opportunities, unfortunately the ball couldn't find the back of the net.
Sul Ross State tallied 16 shots to finish with 21 for the contest. It had more shots than the Tigers, who finished with 10.
The Lobos had nine shots on goal, five more than East Texas Baptist.

>> GAME NOTES:
- Sarayi Serrano finished with seven shots, three came on the mark.
- Yissel Olivares had five shots and three shots on goal.
- Deserie Herrera also tallied seven shots, two came on the mark.
- Eliya Alvidrez made her first appearance at goalkeeper since Sept. 30. Alvidrez had four saves to give her 33 on the year.
