ABILENE, Texas — The Sul Ross State men's soccer team dropped a 4-0 match to the Hardin-Simmons University Cowboys on Thursday night at the HSU Soccer Complex.

>> HOW IT HAPPENED:

Hardin-Simmons broke the ice in the 43rd minute.

The contest remained close at the half as the Lobos trailed 1-0.

During the second half, the Cowboys scored three times during the 60th, 72nd and 73rd minutes.

>> RECORDS: Sul Ross State (1-8-3); Hardin-Simmons (4-4-4)

>> GAME NOTES:

• Cristobal Rodriguez, Antonio Lozano and Julio Hinojos each had one shot and one shot on goal.
• Justin Quinonez finished with two shots.
• Isaac Medrano had one shot.
• Jose Rangel made six saves. Five of the six saves came during the first half.
