CLARKSVILLE, Arkansas - Baseball fell 13-6 to University of the Ozarks in Saturday's series finale in Clarksville.
Ozarks got out to a 4-0 lead after two.
Jared Lorenz cut it to one with a swing of the bat, belting a three-run shot to left center in the top of the third to bring it to 4-3.
Estevan Ortiz and
Orlando Moreno scored on the homer.
The Eagles responded with a pair in third, three in the fourth and three in the fifth for a 12-3 lead after five.
After a scoreless six and seventh,
Jorge Marquez singled home
Carsen Thor to make it 12-4. Ortiz then stepped in and doubled around
Matthew Wheeler and Marquez for a 12-6 score going bottom eight.
Ozarks added one more in the bottom of the eighth and took it by a 13-6 final.
Thor led the game with three hits.
Lorenz finished with a team-best three RBI. Ortiz added two.
The Lobos stand at 12-18 and 9-15 in conference. Ozarks moves to 11-21 and 10-14.
Sully now prepares for their final home series of the season. They'll take on Mary Hardin-Baylor in a doubleheader on Friday, April 22 and a lone game on Saturday.
