ROUND ROCK — The Sul Ross women's soccer team was edged out by the Concordia Tornadoes 3-2 on Saturday afternoon.
To start the first half, both teams didn't waste any time finding the back of the net.
Concordia struck first with a goal from Kallie Krenz nearly two minutes and 31 seconds into the match.
Julia Gomez tied up the game for the Lobos three minutes later.
Deserie Herrera gave Sul Ross a 2-1 lead during the second half in the 67th minute.
Alycia Buenaventura tied up the game with a goal (68').
In the 80th minute, Krenz notched her second goal that came off an assist from Patricia Heckendorn, which proved to be the game winner.
The Lobos finished with 10 shots, six came on the mark.
Aylin Pereyra had four shots in 78 minutes played while Herrera tallied two shots.

Alitzel Ybarra saved four shots in the net.
Concordia narrowly out shot the Lobos by one, but it managed to have nine shots on the mark.
