ROUND ROCK — It was a tough two-game road trip for the Sul Ross men's soccer program after being outscored 10-0 by two quality opponents.

On Saturday evening, the Concordia Tornadoes blanked the Lobos 5-0.

The game was scoreless until Theo Givens scored off an assist by Melvin Molina in the 23rd minute. A minute later, Marco Vazquez found the back of the net with an assist from Molina.

Johnathan De La Torre extended Concordia's lead to 3-0 by scoring on a penalty kick after a yellow card was issued to Sul Ross.

De La Torre notched the hat trick by scoring twice more in the second half during the 45th and 49th minutes. His second goal came off an assist by Christian Barillas.

The Lobos only had five shots. David Dominguez finished with two shots while Pablo Herrera, Mauricio Perez and David Gallegos all had one shot each.

Lobo goalkeeper Julian Sandoval made seven saves in 65 minutes played while Jose Rangel had one save in 24 minutes.
