Trailing 2-1 entering the second half, the Sul Ross State women's soccer team battled back to finish the game with a 2-2 draw Saturday afternoon against the University of the Ozarks Eagles at Lobo Soccer Field.
The Eagles scored quickly, four minutes into the first half with a goal by Kaitlyn McMahan that came off an assist by Alexa Kasper.
Sul Ross retaliated seconds later when
Joanna Estrada tied up the game.
Two minutes later, the Eagles regained the lead with a goal by Claudia Garcia which was assisted by Kasper.
In the 45th minute, during the second half,
Nuvia Guillen tied up the game at two-all.
Sul Ross found a rhythm on offense, sending off 16 shots during the second half. The Lobos had 22 shots with 13 coming at the goal.

Alitzel Ybarra had two saves while Estrada finished with six shots.
Aylin Pereyra tallied five shots.
Eagles goalkeeper Grace Houchin had a busy day making 10 saves.
