AUSTIN, Texas - Women's hoops opened the game on a 17-0 run and never trailed in a 72-53 win over Concordia.

First Quarter
Sully's offense stormed out of the gate with back-to-back layups from
Marley Rokas. Rokas added five more during the opening run with
Alexis Carmosino scoring five and
Caitlyn Corley three for a 17-0 lead with under four minutes left. After a Corley jumper made it 19-2, the final four for the Lobos came at the free throw line for a 23-6 advantage entering the second.
Second Quarter
The second quarter was more even, with the Lobos taking a 20-point lead on a
Vania Hampton free throw with just over two minutes left. Concordia scored the final four of the second for a 32-17 score heading to halftime.
Third Quarter
Concordia cut it to 12 with a triple to open the second half but fell behind 36-20 after back-to-back layups from Rokas and Carmosino. Again leading by 12, the Lobos finished the third on a 15-3 run for a 56-32 advantage heading to the final quarter.
Fourth Quarter
The Tornados opened the fourth with a 9-0 run but never got within 15 again. Sully's 12-4 answer put the Lobos up 23 with just over three minutes left. It was the first of a pair of 23-point leads that eventually resulted in a 72-53 win.
Stats
Rokas finished with a game and career-high 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting.
Carmosino had a game-high 12 rebounds and added 14 points for her second double-double of the week. She also had four assists.
Alyssa Ramlochan was a perfect 6-for-6 shooting with 12 points, four assists and three steals.
Hampton scored 10 on 4-of-5 shooting and came down with four boards.
The Lobos even their regular season record to 7-7 and are 3-6 in conference. Concordia drops to 4-9 and 2-6.
Sully next hosts McMurry on Thursday, January 13 at Gallego Center.
