ALPINE, Texas - A 28-16 third quarter propelled the Lobos to an 85-72 win over LeTourneau on Saturday at Gallego Center.

Cassie Hogan came today on a mission and really stepped up when we needed it."
First Quarter
LeTourneau took the lead out of the gate and led by as many as eight just three minutes in. Sully cut it to 15-12 with a 7-2 run midway through the first.
Vania Hampton started with a triple before
Cassie Hogan and
Alyssa Ramlochan made layups. Sully later got it to three again before going to the second down 22-18.
Second Quarter
The Lobos started the second with three points from Rokas and one from
Keona Loftis for a 23-22 advantage. LETU then answered with a 6-0 run to go ahead 30-26. Sully cut it to one a pair of times before tying it 36-36 on a
Teresa Quintana layup with under a minute left. The Yellowjackets finished the half with a jumper to take a 38-36 lead.
Third Quarter
Down 40-36, the Lobos went on a 9-0 run to lead 45-40. Their largest lead of the third was 10, coming on two occasions. First after a pair of Hogan free throws for a 58-48 lead. The second was the final score of the third, a Rokas jumper for a 64-54 advantage going to the fourth.
Fourth Quarter
Sully upped their lead to 13 with a 7-4 start. LeTourneau trimmed it to seven just past the midway point but fell behind by as many as 15 as the Lobos outscored the Yellowjackets 10-4 down the stretch for an 85-72 win.
Stats
Rokas scored a game-high 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting and 5-of-5 from the free throw line. She added seven rebounds and three assists.
Hogan finished with 19 points, adding four rebounds and three assists.
Alexis Carmosino had a game-high 10 rebounds with 11 points.
Hampton scored 13 points and had eight rebounds.
The Lobos improve to 9-9 and 5-8 in conference. LeTourneau drops to 8-5 and 5-3.
Sully next travels to Clarksville, AR to take on University of the Ozarks on Thursday, January 27.
