Lobos nipped 2-1 by Hardin-Simmons after two unanswered in second half #SRSU | #ASCsoccer | #d3soccer

ABILENE, Texas - Nana Prempeh's third goal of the season gave the Lobos a 1-0 lead at the half, but the Cowboys came back with two in the second half to hand Sully a 2-1 road loss on Saturday.

Prempeh's first half goal came in the 42nd minute on Irving Garcia's first assist of the season for a 1-0 lead.

Goalkeeper Alexis Tellez faced thirteen shots and saved all five on goal in the first half to keep the 1-0 advantage into the half.

HSU got on the board early in the second half with a 52nd minute goal for a 1-1 tie. They'd take their first lead under 10 minutes later on a 61st minute goal for a 2-1 advantage.

Sully put four of their six shots on goal in the second half, but the Cowboys came away with a shutout in the second half for a 2-1 win over the Lobos.

Arturo Madrid led Sully with three shots and put two on goal.

Both Garcia and Prempeh each had two on goal as well.

Tellez saved four shots, playing all 90 minutes in goal.

The Lobos stand at 2-3-1 on the season and in conference. HSU moves to 6-4 and 5-1.

Sully caps their regular season at home on Saturday, March 27 against McMurry.
