ALPINE, Texas - Women's soccer was held to a scoreless 3-0 loss in their home opener on Monday afternoon against Mary Hardin-Baylor.
The first goal of the game came in the 21st minute when Brynna Gardner found Emily Blaettner for a 1-0 UMHB lead that extended to the half.
The Crusaders scored two more in the second half, one in the 49th minute and another in the 72nd minute to finish the game with a 3-0 win.
Britney Berumen finished with a game-high three shots and put one on goal.

Alitzel Ybarra had a game-high four saves in 90 minutes in goal.
The Lobos fall to 1-1 on the season and 1-1 in conference play. UMHB moves to 2-0 and 2-0.
