ABILENE, Texas - Two touchdown passes from
Clayton Maxwell were not enough Saturday as McMurry prevailed 17-14 over the Lobos in a tight contest throughout.

Jaylen Bussey at the 24-yard line of the War Hawks with 6:29 remaining. McMurry's defense had an answer by forcing a quick turnover on downs on four plays from the Lobo offense.
The Lobos had two more chances on offense late in the game but were unable to get past the 50-yard line as the War Hawks came away with the 17-14 win.
