Women's soccer drops home contest to Mary Hardin-Baylor #SRSU | #ASCsoccer | #d3soccer

ALPINE, Texas - Women's soccer fell 7-0 to visiting Mary Hardin-Baylor on Thursday afternoon.

"Rome wasn't built in a day," said coach John Dominguez. "We just have to keep trusting the process."

UMHB scored three goals in the first half and added four more in the second for the 7-0 win over the Lobos.

Sully was not short on offensive attacks with three shots from Aylin Pereyra that all went on goal. Yissel Olivares and Kasey Bruce also put shots on goal. As a team, the Lobos tallied eight shots with five on goal.

Alitzel Ybarra totaled nine saves on the day after 90 minutes in goal.

Sully stands at 1-5 on the year and 0-4 in conference. The Crusaders improve to 9-2 and 4-1.

The Lobos remain home this weekend with an 11:30 a.m. start against visiting Concordia on Saturday.
