ALPINE, Texas - David Gallegos made senior day thrilling with a second half equalizer, but a late answer from East Texas Baptist handed the Lobos a close 2-1 loss on senior day.

Honored were Alan Hernandez, Luis Sifuentes, Luis Gonzalez, Jose Luis Originales, Jesus Monreal and Demetrio Ortegon.

ETBU took the lead and 1-0 advantage to the half on a goal at 26:11.

It wasn't until midway through the second half when David Gallegos netted his third of the year off an assist from Luis Gonzalez for a 1-1 tie.

The score remained that way until late in the second half. ETBU was able to net the eventual game-winner at 85:40 to take it by a 2-1 final.

Five of Sully's 10 shots for the game were on goal. One each came from Jair Moreno, Cristobal Rodriguez, Nana Prempeh, Monreal and Gallegos.

Alexis Tellez faced a total of 12 shots on goal and saved four.

The loss puts the Lobos at 4-8 on the season and 1-7 in conference. ETBU stands at 4-9-2 and 3-5-1.

Sully finishes up the regular season against Howard Payne on Friday, October 29 in Brownwood.
