FROM COACH E:
- First of all, that was a great college soccer game.
- Credit to our opponent. They held on and capitalized on a couple of our mistakes.
- On the other hand, I am incredibly proud of our team, individually and collectively.
- We grew up tonight. We have faced many challenges with young players, a young program and a new coach.
- To their credit, these young men have built a great sense of community off the field and developed some good habits on both sides of the ball on the field.
- I love this team and they love each other. That's special.
- They played really well tonight, probably the best they have played all year. That performance gets a result on most nights.
- The good news is we are still alive.
Sully falls to 3-7 on the season and 0-6 in conference. The War Hawks improve to 3-11 and 2-5.
The Lobos next host LeTourneau on Thursday, October 21 at Lobo Field.
