JACKSON, Mississippi - Football fell 44-0 to Belhaven on Saturday afternoon.
"We got outcoached today and we need to find ways to put players in position to have success," said head coach
John Pearce. "This is the challenge I am putting on my staff."
Sully opened the game with a six-play, 33-yard drive that ended on a blocked field goal. Belhaven then went down the field and scored a touchdown. They later converted a field goal for a 10-0 lead after the first quarter.
Belhaven's offense added three more touchdowns in the second quarter for a 31-0 lead at the half. They'd add two touchdowns in the third quarter before a scoreless fourth resulted in a 44-0 final in favor of the Blazers.
Tyler DeShields threw for 79 yards on 9-of-14 passing.
Ozias Wright rushed for a team-high 32 yards on five carries and had a long of 14.
Vicente Luevano caught two passes for a game-best 36 yards.
Austin Remo caught three passes for 34 yards.

Quincy Blair had four tackles with one for a two-yard loss.
The Lobos stand at 1-4 on the season and in conference. Belhaven improves to 4-2 and 3-2.
