Luis Gonzalez's first half goal appeared to be enough, but a late War Hawks goal tied the game and it would end in a 1-1 draw in double overtime Thursday.

Luis Gonzalez netted his third goal of the season at the 17:50 mark of the first half for a 1-0 lead. He was assisted by
Osvaldo Ogaz
With the goal, Gonazlez tied teammate
Lorenzo Segura for the team-high on the season. Ogaz broke a tie with three others to now lead the Lobos on the season with two assists.
Goalie
Frank Rodriguez played a perfect first half with four saves as the lead was 1-0 for the Lobos going to the half.
Sully held the lead until the 88th minute, when Andres Martinez tied the game 1-1 at the 88:19 mark and the game went to overtime.
The Lobos put up three shots in the first minute of overtime. Luis Gonzales put one on net that was saved by goalie Mark Pelaez. Segura's shot went high, before
Mauricio Perez had his shot saved by Pelaez. Gonzales put one more on goal in the extra time, but the game went to double overtime tied 1-1.
Neither side put a shot on goal in the second overtime period and the game ended after 110 minutes in a 1-1 tie.
Gonzalez put all three of his shots on goal to go with his lone goal. Perez,
Luis Sifuentes, and
Christopher Diaz also put one on goal apiece.
Rodriguez finished in net with five saves after playing the entire game.
Sully moves to 3-6-3 on the season and 1-3-3 in ASC Play. The War Hawks stand at 5-7-1 and 2-4-1.
The Lobos next host Hardin-Simmons Saturday at 3:30 at Lobo Field.
