SHERMAN- The Sul Ross Lady Lobo volleyball team dropped two non-conference matches to LeTourneau and East Texas Baptist in day two of the Austin College Invitational.
Sully fell in four sets to the Yellow Jackets in scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-12 and 25 17. The Tigers then swept the Lady Lobos in the closing match by scores of 25-21, 25-13 and 25-12.

In Saturday's opening match against LeTourneau, Sul Ross picked up its lone victory in the second game.
A kill by
Jordan Scherer broke a 1-1 tie to start the set. Several more ties would follow before LeTourneau held and maintained a slim lead until a kill by
Isabella Ruiz knotted the game at 23.
The Lady Lobos would go on to win the set off back-to-back attack errors.
For the match,
Autumn Kilpatrick and Ruiz led the offensive effort with nine and eight kills respectively. Freshman setter
Kylee Davis posted 21 assists and led defenders with 19 digs while Ruiz and
Karigan Edwards sports 12 and 11 scoops respectively.
ETBU-3, SRSU-0
East Texas Baptist jumped out to a 4-1 advantage in the lead off set before a spike by Kilpatrick capped a 3-0 Sul Ross run and tied the game at five.
Sul Ross went on to hold a two-point lead at the 8-6 mark off a Tiger hitting error.
East Texas Baptist then broke an 11-11 tie and mounted a 4-0 run and would break out to a pair of five-point leads down the stretch before claiming the 25-21 victory.
Scherer notched nine kills while Davis supplied 13 assists against the Tigers. Edwards and Ruiz tallied 13 and 10 digs to lead the defense.
At 1-3 on the season, the Lady Lobos will host Howard Payne University in the ASC and home opener Tuesday, September 11.
First serve is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at the Gallego Center.
