ALPINE, Texas- The Sul Ross Lady Lobo volleyball team dropped two matches Friday against East Texas Baptist and U.T. Tyler during the first day of the ASC Crossover.
Sully suffered back-to-back 3-0 sweeps falling to the Tigers in scores of 25-14, 25-23 and 26-24 before dropping 25-18, 25-21 and 25-11 decisions to the Patriots.
In game one,
Annika Canaba led with 13 kills and 14 digs while
Isabella Ruiz added 10 digs.
Freshman setter
Kylee Davis sported 16 assists in the effort.
Against U.T. Tyler, Canaba led the team again with 15 kills while freshman libero
Karigan Edwards notched 10 digs.
Sul Ross drops to 2-7 overall and 1-3 in ASC competition.
The Lady Lobos will close out the two-day crossover Saturday with a 2:00 p.m. conference match against LeTourneau at the Gallego Center.
