ODESSA- Freshman post Brayden Fry scored 12 points but the Sul Ross men's basketball team dropped a 103-69 decision to NCAA Division II U.T. Permian Basin Wednesday in Odessa.

Fellow freshman Jack Kirkpatrick contributed nine in the effort.

The Falcons put up a sizable run in the first half and led 50-29 at the break.

U.T.P.B. posted five players with double figures led by Maurice Walton who finished with a double double 17 points and 10 rebounds.

The Lobos drop to 1-2 on the season while U.T. Permian Basin improves to 4-1.

Sully will open American Southwest Conference play November 29 against visiting U.T. Dallas. Tip off is 7:30 from the Gallego Center and will be live streamed on the Sul Ross Sports Network.
