RICHARDSON- Brad Rivenes of U.T. Dallas scored the only goal of the day as the host Comet's claimed a 1-0 victory over Sul Ross Thursday evening in Richardson.
 
Rivenes' score came in the first half at the 14th minute from a header off the right corner with an assist from Jesse Ardila.
 
Lobo goalkeeper Frank Rodriguez finished with seven saves.
 
Sul Ross drops to 2-10-0 on the season and 2-6-0 in ASC play. The Comets improve to 10-1-2 and 8-0-1 in conference competition.
 
The Lobo men will face Howard Payne at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Brownwood's Gordon Wood Stadium.
