Men's soccer falls to Howard Payne, 1-0

Box Score BROWNWOOD- Howard Payne's University's Spencer Lyon scored the only goal of the day as the Yellow Jackets claimed a 1-0 ASC victory over visiting Sul Ross on Sunday.

Lyon's goal came with an assist by Joshua Rodriguez in the 10th minute of the first half.

The Lobos fired off 13 shots with seven on goal while the Yellow Jackets posted 11 shots with four on goal.

Sul Ross drops to 2-11 on the season and 2-7 in ASC play. Howard Payne improves to 4-8 and 3-6.

The Lobo men will host Concordia and the University of mary Hardin-Baylor next Thursday and Saturday.
