PINEVILLE, Louisiana- A 27-yard field goal by sophomore kicker Eli Lopez (Austin/AHS) with one second left in regulation propelled Sul Ross State University (3-1, 2-1) to a 34-31 ASC victory over Louisiana College (1-3, 0-3) Saturday night in Pineville.

The Lobos answered on the next drive as Markese Martin (Nash/NHS) scored on a 62-yard run. Lopez tacked on the PAT at 35 seconds.

Louisiana College claimed the go ahead with 11:05 left in the closing quarter. Drake Bataglia hauled in a 62-yard pass from Joseph before the extra point kick.
