ALPINE, Texas- Visiting U.T. Dallas (13-3-0, 8-2-0) scored two goals in the opening half and notched two more in the second to claim a 4-0 shutout over Sul Ross (8-4-1, 6-3-1) Saturday.

The Comets' Keely Fillman posted the first score at the 14th minute off a corner kick. Melissa Fulfer then scored off a bounced save with an assist by Michelle Lee at 24:36.

Fulfer struck again at the 56th minute on a right foot lob before Jessica Rusk banked off another corner kick by Fulfer at 62:56.

For the game, Sully fired off 12 shots with half on goal. The Comets sported 19 shots with nine on goal.

Ashlie Rojas notched five saves on the afternoon.

The Lady Lobos will take on Mary Hardin-Baylor in a Thursday nightcap from Belton. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 p.m.
