Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SHERMAN-Sul Ross volleyball fell in their closing round of the Austin College Invitational Saturday in Sherman.

The Lady Lobos suffered back to back 3-0 shutouts to University of Dallas and No. 19 Hendrix College.

Sul Ross will begin American Southwest Conference competition this week at Concordia and Mary Hardin-Baylor, September 16 and 17.

Candice Hugi led the effort with seven kills against Dallas while Nina Sterling and Katie Reeves notched 12 assists each. Jordan Kington led the defense with 12 digs while Hannah Zly contributed 11.

Scores in the loss to Dallas were 25-16, 25-18 and 25-23.

Hugi repeated her performance against Hendrix with a team leading seven kills. Sterling posted 11 assists with Zly, Destiny Wilson and Sterling totaling seven digs each.

Scores were 25-15, 25-18 and 25-18.
