Ebbs hat trick blanks McM, 4-0

ABILENE- Lauren Ebbs (Dublin, Ireland) secured three goals including a penalty kick to lead Sul Ross (6-7-1, 4-5-1 ASC) to a 4-0 shutout win over McMurry (1-13, 1-8 ASC) Thursday night.

The Lady Lobos remain within striking distance of a post season berth in the ASC tournament.

Meanwhile the Lady Lobos will face ASC powerhouse Hardin-Simmons Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Abilene to close out the regular season.

Ebbs' first score came on a penalty kick at the 37th minute.

McMurry then suffered a self deflected ball into its own goal for a 2-0 Sul Ross lead at 56:45

Ebbs notched her second goal of the evening at the 64th minute on a header and an assist by Maria Alatorre (El Paso/Mission Early) before sliding her final goal of the game off an unassisted shot at 67:55.

Sully totaled 21 shots with 16 on goal while holding the War Hawks to three shots, all off frame.
