Zachary Rule is in his first season as assistant coach for Sul Ross State Women’s Basketball.
In high school at Abilene Wylie Zach won the 2008 Caprock Tournament MVP (Lubbock, TX) and earned 2-time District 2-3A MVP , 2-time MVP of the Big Country, 2-time Region 1 3A All-Region Selection, Academic All-State, and a 3A All-State Selection.
Rule played his college ball at Hardin-Simmons University (2009-2010) and at Sul Ross State University (2011-2012), where he averaged 18 points against Division 1 opponents (Baylor, UTEP).
Zach began his coaching career at Lohn High School in February 2025. He was the Head Coach for all four basketball teams in Lohn, (JH boys, JH girls, Varsity Boys, Varsity Girls) and helped lead both the boys' and girls' basketball programs to their first playoff appearance in over 20 years.
Zach Rule has a bachelor's in public administration from Texas State University.
