Morales is a four-year letter winner for the Lobos and is a member of the 2003-04 ASC Champion and Sweet 16 men's team. He also helped lead Sul Ross to a pair of ASC West Division titles.
A team captain in 2003-04, Morales earned 2002-03 ASC First Team All-West Division honors. He was also tabbed as a 2003-04 ASC First Team All-Conference selection and was the ASC Tournament Most Valuable Player his senior season.
Morales was named the Sul Ross Male Athlete of the Year in 2003 and 2004. He scored over a 1000 points during his Sul Ross career.
Morales received his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Sul Ross in 2005 and his Master's Degree in 2006. He currently teaches and coaches basketball for the Canutillo ISD.
