B.S. Degree in Physical Education, M. Ed. from Sul Ross, 1963

Lettered in baseball (1956, 57, 58) and Basketball (1956-57)

Member of the 1957 National Championship baseball team

NAIA All-Tournament team, 1957

Led the Lobos in home runs and rbi's with a batting average of .327 in 1957

Led the team in doubles, rbi's and batting average in 1958

Sports editor for the Skyline, 1957-58

Member of Who's Who, Alpha Chi Honor Society, Kappa Delta Pi, Campus Favorite, president of Student Body, and Sul Ross Man of the Year, 1958

Spent 20 years in public schools and served as coach and director of athletics at Western Texas College

Began Little Dribblers program in Snyder, Texas

Member of the Sul Ross Alumni Association.  Instrumental in the formation of the Slingin Sammy Baugh Golf Tournament that benefits the Sul Ross Alumni Association
