  • Lettered in basketball in, 1956 and 57
  • Member of the 1957 National Championship baseball team
  • Named to the National All-Tournament team as a first baseman, 1957
  • Led the Lobos in home runs and rbi's with a btting average of .327 in 1957
  • Led the team in doubles, rbi's and batting average in 1958
  • Played on the 1955-56 basketball team that finished with a record of 20-6
  • Sports editor for the Skyline, 1957-58
  • Member of Who's Who, Alpha Chi Honor Society, Kappa Delta Pi, Campus Favorite, president of Student Body, and Sul Ross Man of the Year, 1958
  • Spent 20 years in public schools and sereved as coach and director of athletics at Western Texas College
  • Began Little Dribblers program in Snyder, Texas
  • Member of the Sul Ross Alumni Association
