James Davis begins his first season as a graduate assistant on the Sul Ross coaching staff.
Davis lettered four seasons and was a standout on the football and track and field teams.
He was a three-time ASC All-Conference quarterback with the Lobos and was a three-time National qualifier in the 4X100-meter relay.
Davis earned All-American status in the 4X100 his junior season. He wrapped up his football career with an invitation to the Aztec Bowl in Mexico this past season.
A native of Houston, Davis earned his Bachelor's Degree from Sul Ross in May, 2018 and is currently pursuing his Master's Degree in Human Health and Performance.
