Sul Ross State University complies with the requirements of the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) by completing an annual report of participation rates, financial support and other information on men’s and women’s intercollegiate athletic programs.
The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act is designed to make prospective students aware of a school's commitment to providing equitable athletic opportunities for its men and women students. Any co-educational higher education institution participating in a federal student aid program must prepare an EADA Report by October 15. Institutions must also report data to the U.S. Department of Education via this online survey. This is a mandatory survey.
The Office of Postsecondary Education will publish data collected in this survey on the Equity in Athletics Data Analysis Cutting Tool website located at
http://ope.ed.gov/athletics.
