Lubbock, Texas – Sul Ross State University Women's Basketball (3-23, LSC 2-18) closed out the 2025–26 season on the road against Lubbock Christian University (23-6, LSC 15-5) Saturday afternoon at the Rip Griffin Center. The Chaps took the Lone Star Conference matchup by a final score of 73-44.

Sul Ross was led by Sophiya Bustillos, who finished with a team-high 15 points, connecting on two three-pointers while adding five rebounds. The Lobos continued to battle throughout the contest, showing consistent effort and poise against one of the conference's top programs.
