Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Lobos Battle Lady Chaps

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Sul Ross State University women's soccer team (0-1 Lone Star Conference, 1-4) lost 5-0 to Lubbock Christian (1-0 LSC, 3-2), Wednesday evening at the LCU Soccer & Track Complex.

Freshman Emmy Finlinson made two great saves in the first 15 minutes to keep the game scoreless.  Lubbock Christian managed to sneak one in at the 24:38 mark.

In the second half, with just over 34 minutes to go, the Lady Chaps scored twice in a 15-minute span to seal the game. 

Finlinson finished the game with 10 saves, her second straight 10+ save performance.

Sul Ross State stays on the road, Saturday, Sept. 20 taking on #25 Texas's Woman's.  The game is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
