Lobos Getting Ready For Senior Day

ALPINE, Texas –The Sul Ross State University men's soccer team (2-1-2 Lone Star Conference, 5-3-4) has two games this week.

Wednesday, Oct. 22 – 7:00 p.m. – at Dallas Baptist (2-2-1 LSC, 5-5-1)
Caleb Centeno has scored five goals with three assists for 13 points.  This is the second meeting with the Patriots winning 4-0 last year.

Saturday, Oct. 25 – 1:00 p.m. – UT Dallas (4-0-1 LSC, 8-3-2) - SENIOR DAY
Ryder Claborn is 7-0-2 with six shutouts and a 0.33 G.A.A.  The Comets lead the series 4-0-1.

LAST WEEK
Sul Ross State went 0-1-1 for the week.  The Lobos took a hard fought 2-0 loss to Oklahoma Christian on Oct. 15.  SRSU saw UT Tyler scored with 6:31 left to force a 1-1 tie on Oct. 18.

Benjamin Aviles leads the LSC in saves per game (4.67) and is second in total saves (42).  D. Hernandez is second in assists per game (0.46). 

As a team, SRSU is second in saves per game (3.75) and third in G.A.A. (1.00), goals per game (1.75) and total saves (45).

LOCKING IT DOWN
The Lobos have posted six shutouts this season.  That ties the record they set last season.
