Sul Ross Shows Heart in LSC Matchup

Tyler, TX – Sul Ross State University Women's Soccer (2–11, 1–8 LSC) fell 5–0 to UT Tyler (9–2–2, 6–2–2 LSC) on Saturday morning at Citizens First Bank–Perkins Soccer Complex.

Goalkeeper Kathy Palmer recorded another double-digit performance with 14 saves for the Lobos. Sul Ross continued to battle throughout the match against the Patriots, showing effort and resilience from start to finish.

"Tough result today. We started off slow in the first half but picked it up in the second, creating some good chances and putting pressure on their back line. We connected much better after halftime. It's always tough to go on the road and play a quality team, especially on a long trip like this. We'll take the positives from this performance and look to carry them into our next game on Wednesday against UTPB." – Head Women's Soccer Coach John Dominguez

Sul Ross State will return to action next week at UT Permian Basin at The Kirk Field, part of The D. Kirk Edwards Family Human Performance Center, on Wednesday, October 22, at 7:00 p.m.
