PORTALES, N.M. — Despite the Sul Ross State football team getting the game within a touchdown, the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds used their dominant running game to score twice in the fourth quarter to pull away for the 36-17 victory Saturday night at Al Whitehead Field at Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium.

Sul Ross State got a spark after
Tamirr Bullock forced and recovered a fumble as the Greyhounds tried to convert on a fourth-and-three situation with 10:25 on the clock.
Quarterback

Martinez was able to throw a 10-yard touchdown strike to
Vicente Luevano on fourth-and-nine.
The Greyhounds were forced to punt on their next series, which allowed the Lobos to start at their own 45-yard line.
Tucker Bridwell came in off the bench after Martinez had to sit out a play after losing his helmet. Bridwell threw a 28-yard pass to move the chains as the third quarter came to an end.
