>> POSTGAME INTERVIEWS:
"The first game we talked about being patient. We kind of settled down a little bit. We didn't execute very well either at the very beginning, but we executed when we needed to. The second game the offense came up. Erin pitched really well. (Leanza) pitched really well and (Loren) came in and closed it up for them. I think our hitting is coming around a little bit and they're getting a little bit more confident." —
Head coach Troy Canaba on getting the two wins
"We're trying to hit spots. I think these are our first two games we haven't walked anybody. So, we're making them earn it. I think today we did a really good job of that." —
Head coach Troy Canaba on the pitching staff's improvement
"I'm glad I could help my team out and pull through for them in the last inning. It means that we all just work together. We all contributed. I felt like our hitting was really on today and we've been struggling with that, so I feel like that was really good to come back." —
Madison Hodges
"We've worked so hard. We're finally putting all the pieces together and we're executing when we need to. It's just a great time. We focus on the little things. The pitchers have a lot of trust in the girls behind them and our coaches. They have confidence and at this point that's all we can ask for." —
