It was the final opportunity for the Sul Ross State women's soccer team to end the season on a high note.
On Thursday morning, the Lobos hosted the St. Edward's Hilltoppers for the season finale at the Lobo Soccer Field.
The Lobos left it all out on the pitch, but ended up suffering a 4-0 loss.

Carina Wust scored the first goal that came off a deflection from a shot by Alyssa Garcia during the first minute.
Wust tallied her second goal off an assist by Tristyn Cabello during the 25th minute to lead 2-0 at the half.
The Lobos had just one shot in the first half which was taken by
Soleil Ortez during the 38th minute.
Sul Ross State had seven shot attempts during the final half as the contest got a bit physical as four cautions were issued.
On a free kick, Marie Hannedouche struck the back of the net during the 68th minute to extend the lead to 3-0.
Claire Smith scored the final goal in the 73rd minute.

- Andrea Iniguez had one shot and one shot on goal.
