A little over two weeks since its last home match, the Sul Ross State men's soccer team is finally back at the Lobo Soccer Field this week.
The Lobos are looking to get back on track as they host the Dallas Baptist Patriots at 1 p.m. CST on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Four of the last five matches for the Patriots have resulted in draws.
Last week, Dallas Baptist suffered a 2-0 loss to Oklahoma Christian.
The lone win for the Patriots was a 2-1 upset over No. 20 Colorado State University-Pueblo on Sept. 12.
Dallas Baptist has played three teams in the United Soccer Coaches top 25, which also includes competitive losses to No. 4 University of Colorado-Colorado Springs and No. 19 Southern Nazarene.
The Lobos are then back on the road for a match against West Texas A&M on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. CST.
After Wednesday's match with Dallas Baptist, only four home games remain for the Lobos. The next home match isn't until Saturday, Oct. 19 when nationally-ranked Midwestern State comes into town.

- Last time at home, the Lobos defeated the University of St. Thomas, 2-0.
- Sul Ross State made history by winning its first home opener in program history after going 0-5.
- The Lobos tied the longest winning streak in program history of three games, which was set in 2021.
- Sul Ross State also broke the program record for shutouts in a season with three. The previous record was two set in 2019.
- Eight different Lobos have scored goals this season.
- Carlos Gonzalez, Diego Hernandez and Lewis Coates are tied for the team lead in goals with two each.
- Coates is eighth in the LSC in shots with 19 and seventh in shots on goal with 10.
- Benjamin Aviles remains one of the top goalkeepers in the LSC. He is third in the conference with 29 saves.
- Aviles leads the conference in saves per game, averaging 4.1 a contest.
