This weekend the Sul Ross State women's soccer team is hosting the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals for senior day at the Lobo Soccer Field.

Lubbock Christian is 6-5-3 overall and 4-3-2 in Lone Star Conference play.
The Chaps recently played West Texas A&M on Wednesday to a 1-1 draw.
Lubbock Christian has been led by freshman forward Ella Spiller and senior forward Avery Jennings, who have both scored five goals this season.
The duo has also combined for 28 points and 36 shots on goal.
Lubbock Christian has used three different goalkeepers. Sophomore Emma Wright leads the defense with 25 saves in seven starts.
Senior Megan Mirabal is 2-0-1 in five games played with seven saves while sophomore Kara Murray has 16 saves in five starts.

- Sofia Molinar, Celeste De La Rosa, Brianna Cruz, Serena Escobar, Natalee Schell, Karina Gallegos and student trainer Zachary Eisenberg will all be honored on senior day.
- The Lobos have been unlucky being shutout in their last five matches.
- SRSU is trying to change things up by notching their first goal since Oct. 2 against Texas A&M International.
- The Lobos are also trying to snap a nine-game losing skid.
- Gallegos and Mia Serrano lead the offense with three goals each.
- Gallegos has scored nine career goals.
- Sarayi Serrano is second on the team with two goals while she leads the way in shot attempts with 22.
- Sienna Ramirez and Luz Ruiz have tallied one assist each.
- Mia Serrano has a team-high 14 shots on goal.
- De La Rosa has 49 saves in eight starts. She currently ranks sixth in the LSC in saves.
- De La Rosa averages 4.4 saves a game to rank fifth in the LSC.
- De La Rosa has 87 career saves.
- Benita Carreon has made four appearances in the net, making 19 saves.
