As only four games remain in the regular season, the Sul Ross State men's soccer team is trying to end a record-breaking year on a high note by capping things off with a winning record.
This weekend the Lobos host Eastern New Mexico at the Lobo Soccer Field.

Eastern New Mexico is 2-1-2 in its last five matches.
The Greyhounds played a tough match with Dallas Baptist on Wednesday that resulted in a 1-0 loss.
Eastern New Mexico sports an overall record of 4-4-5 while it is 2-2-2 in Lone Star Conference play.
The Lobos have already met the Greyhounds as they suffered a 2-0 loss back on Sept. 28.
Eastern New Mexico has had seven different goal scorers. Juniors Ben Sauerländer and Pablo Nodar both have a team-high three goals while the duo has combined for 15 points.
Sauerländer also leads the team in assists with two.
Freshman Milo Paci has made 32 saves in the net as he sports a 3-3-3 record in nine games played.

- SRSU is 2-2 in its last two matches. The Lobos fell to a pair of nationally ranked teams in No. 18 Midwestern State and No. 16 St. Mary's recently.
- The Lobos have had eight different goal scorers.
- Zachary Trimming leads the squad with four goals and nine points.
- Trimming is four goals shy of tying the single-season program record for goals. The record is eight which was set by Luiz Gonzalez in 2018.
- Carlos Gonzalez and Lewis Coates are second on the team with three goals each.
- Coates leads the Lobos with 28 shot attempts and 16 shots on goal.
- The Lobos are five goals away from tying the season-high mark of 21 set in 2018. The current team has 16 goals.
- Benjamin Aviles ranks second in the LSC with 54 saves. He is five saves behind the conference leader Connor Pettigrew from Lubbock Christian.
- Aviles is 28 saves away from tying the single-season program record of 82 saves set by Frank Rodriguez in 2018.
- The Lobos are trying to become the first team across all sports to finish with a winning record since the 2022-2023 women's basketball team.
