SHERMAN, Texas — It was a tough night for the Sul Ross State men's soccer team.
Against Austin College, the Lobos fell 3-0 on Thursday night at the Dr. Jack R. Pierce Memorial Soccer Complex.
>> HOW IT HAPPENED:
As thunderstorms entered the vicinity, the match start time was pushed back by two and a half hours.
Austin College scored five minutes into the first half.
Four minutes later, Austin College struck again to take a 2-0 lead at the break.
Sul Ross State was held to two shots in the opening half while Austin College attempted 15 shots.
The Lobos tallied seven shots in the second half, unfortunately they were unable to erase the shutout as Austin College scored once more in the 68th minute.
