It's been 16 days since the Sul Ross State women's soccer team was at home.

On a brisk Thursday afternoon, Sul Ross State suffered a 4-1 loss to the Concordia University (Texas) Tornados at the Lobo Soccer Field.

>> HOW IT HAPPENED:

Concordia struck fast and early as it took a 3-0 lead in the first half.

Kallie Krenz notched the hat trick for the Tornados as her first goal came in the 10th minute.

Sul Ross State erased the shutout when Yissel Olivares scored on a penalty kick during the 58th minute.

>> GAME NOTES:

• Sul Ross State had 22 shots with 15 coming on the mark.
• Olivares scored her first goal of the season.
• Deserie Herrera tallied eight shots and three on the goal.
• Herrera has made 39 shots while she also leads the team with 18 shots on goal.
• Karina Gallegos, Victoria Vidaurre and Sarayi Serrano each had two shots.
• Geraldine Rubio made two saves to give her six on the year.
