It's come down to the final two games of the season as an NCAA Division III program.
The Sul Ross State men's soccer team came up short on Thursday afternoon by dropping 2-1 to the East Texas Baptist University Tigers at the Lobo Soccer Field.
>> HOW IT HAPPENED:
On a free kick, Jacob Wenzel got the Tigers on the board first with a goal during the first minute.
ETBU got one more goal during the first half in the 28th minute when Luke Hunsinger scored on an assist by Bruno Palmieri.
The Lobos erased the shutout in the 64th minute as
Jacob Garza found the back of the net with an assist from
Antonio Lozano.
